Matt McGuire & David Rogers with Charlene Semkin—the founder of Semkin Longhorns and the woman who started it all—be inducted into the TLBAA Hall of Fame. This is the highest honor a breeder can receive in the industry, and Charlene is the very first woman to earn this distinction.

From beginning with her very first heifer, Alpha, to selling more than 1500 new breeders their first Texas Longhorn, Charlene has played a pivotal role not only in our operation, but in shaping a lasting legacy for the breed.
